临床 Nurse Specialist Certificate

The Post-Masters Certificate for Adult-Gerontology中枢神经系统, 新生儿中枢神经系统, or Pediatric CNS is for nurses with master’s degrees in nursing and recent acute care experience with the population. Included in the APRN course of study are advanced health assessment, 先进的病理生理学, 药理学, 健康促进, and management of complex care for neonates/children and families or for the adult population, from young adult to older adult, 包括体弱长者, in various clinical and community settings.

1. Completion of a master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institutions and Accreditation Commission for Education in 护理 (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate 护理 Education (CCNE) accredited nursing program or the equivalent
2. Overall grade point average of 3.0 (on a four point scale) in units attempted, or demonstrated academic ability as required by the faculty, 遵循上诉程序.
3. United States RN licensure  must be unencumbered, 不受限制的, with no probation or disciplinary action pending or imposed,
4. Minimum of two years recent clinical professional nursing experience with the specialty population (adult, neonatel, or pediatric) in the acute care setting.
5. Residence in a state in which the 护理学院 at California State University, Dominguez Hills is permitted to deliver online education.
6. 健康 Clearance (immunity, etc.) is required prior to enrolling in a role performance course.

护理 政府 Certificate

The Post-Master's Certificate in 护理 政府 is for nurses with a master's in nursing who want to develop advanced knowledge and skills as a nurse manager or administrator in health care institutions. The study of various health care systems and all areas of management are included with emphasis on quality improvement and evidence-based administrative practices. The certificate program consists of 15 units.
